The Trust
The "Schwering & Hasse Stiftung" is a trust organised by Schwering & Hasse Elektrodraht GmbH KG, Luegde. The trust funds amount to 350.000 Euro and may be increased through donations from outside sources. The donations are tax-deductible (in Germany)
The Schwering & Hasse trust is geared towards helping the inhabitants of Luegde, and is in line with the traditions followed by the founding family. In addition it reflects the bond between the company, its 150 years of existence and the town of Luegde. With the trust Schwering & Hasse wishes to support those who show a sense of responsibility towards their community and to foster a harmonious co-existence of the populace.
The trust`s activities are exclusively of a non-profit nature. The prime objective is to cultivate the welfare of the town of Luegde. Some examples of support are:
job training
junior musical education
support of kindergardens
construction of a multi-purpose playing field
In order to concentrate the available financial resources sensibly, individual projects are identified and supported for up to three years.
