Our products move the world and they contribute to keeping it a cleaner place. "Green" technology and developments are not workable without the use of enamelled copper wire, and this applies also to energy efficiency, production and distribution. Enamelled copper wires are the heart of an electric motor, generator and transformers, plus of course wind energy plants and solar energy.
On the path to environmentally worthwhile products we display a sense of responsibility towards the environment and future generations. As a company we operate in an environmentally responsible manner which far exceeds any government guidelines.
We not only ensure that our production processes are strictly in line with ecological assumptions, we also ensure that our suppliers adhere to the European and International guidelines.
Conserving the environment and resources as an ethical principle is part of our company culture and objectives. From this we develop projects and individual tasks which are monitored regularly and are documented in an annual environment protection report.
Schwering & Hasse falls well below the maximum permitted emission values (CO,CO2,NoX) The operation of our plant does not generate any particulate matter. Prevention of air pollution is achieved through the use of modern catalytic technology and systems engineering, which ensure an optimum use of solvent produced energy. All of these measures have placed our company in a leading role in our segment of industry.
The first in its segment, Schwering & Hasse went through a formal public approval process in 2007 to obtain the right to operate a production site in excess of 50,000 metric tons per year.
In addition, as one of the first in the magnet wire industry, Schwering & Hasse gained the ISO 14001 certification in 1999.
